How to Take Care Of Your Yoga Mat

Yoga is a thing when you want to stay in shape and your Yoga mat is your best friend for sure.

But after a long, sweaty yet relaxing Yoga session, how do you take care of your Yoga mat?

Here are 2 simple tips to take care of your Yoga Mat:

Just Lather It Up
Washing your Yoga mat directly to water might cause it to lose its friction making it slippery and risky for your next session. To avoid that simply do the lather up technique.

Using lukewarm water, add a dish soap or any liquid soap. Wet your cloth with the solution and rub it on your Yoga mat. Once done, you can let your Yoga mat dry. Drying it under the sun is way better as it helps to get away extra dirt and bacteria in your mat.

Hang it
You don't get to wash your mat every after a session, correct? That is why if you're not planning to wash it after a session, don't keep your mat rolled up. Hang it somewhere in the house with direct sunlight or near a window where the wind can pass through. Because if you keep it rolled up, all the sweat and bacterias will all be left smiling.

Keep It Yours and YOURS ALONE
This might sound a little selfish but don't lend out your Yoga mat to anyone. You don't want to end up sharing sweat and bacteria with your friend right? Yeah, sounds gross! So keep your mat to your use only.

Just Spray It
If you are in a hurry catching your yoga session, always bring your Yoga Buddy with you.

Yoga Buddy is a Yoga Mat Cleaner spray with calming and relaxing scent. Plus, it's a 100% Organic Antibacterial.

It helps in keeping your Yoga Mat clean and smelling fresh. Just spray on your Yoga mat and then wipe.
