Why You Should Exfoliate Your Lips

Between the nasty cold and that frigid weather, dry lips can be a true problem throughout this time of year. Since your lips have a paper-thin layer of skin than the other part of your body, they drop moisture easily. Lip balm is surely handy when it comes to relieving chapped lips, but you also must make sure to exfoliate constantly to keep the perfect pout. Contrarily, flaky lips can not only drive to sloppy lipstick use but also lesser-known — and possibly more serious — outcomes.

Bad Breath
Having chapped lips are a positive sign that you're not taking enough water. Whereas the flaky lips aren't certainly the reason of your bad breath, they just may be a sign that you're not well-hydrated, which most of the time leads to having bad breath. So drink up more water, get rid of the excess flakes, and make sure to stay hydrated to keep having a kissable mouth.

Cold Sores
Broken lips can be a trigger for cold sores in and throughout your mouth. Make sure to have your lips well moisturized to stop an outbreak.

Lip Discoloration
In severe circumstances, remaining to ignore your chapped lips by not exfoliating or moisturizing can point to slight lip discoloration like pale lips and a dark border throughout your mouth. This seems to happen more frequently in severe weather climates, so make sure to exfoliate more frequently in the winter.

Clumpy Lipstick Use
Lastly, flaky lips start a rough and uneven surface when you use lipstick. If you intend on putting some color to your lips, exfoliate your lips and use lip balm for at least maybe an hour beforehand.

So, how should we go about lip scrubbing?

You have heard of face and body exfoliation, but have you tried the lip scrub and lip exfoliation?  We must scrub the stagnant layers off our skin to keep a  young-looking skin. The very same thing applies to the lips. We need to scrub the exterior layer of our lips to gain smooth and kissable lips.
Lip scrub just like all other scrubs employs a gritty element to exfoliate the outer layers when rubbed on your lips. Lip scrubs do remove the dead exposed surface of your lips, but different from body scrubs, they are commonly safe if ingested since lip scrubs are intended to be sweet and delightful, so scrubbing is enjoyable and healthy too.

Benefits of Using a Lip Scrub
The eliminating of the dead surface of your lips takes out new fresh layers, making your lips smooth and soft.

Here are other benefits that you can get from lip scrubbing:

  • With a soft surface, lip cosmetics will stay longer on your lips. Thus, this makes lipsticks, lip gloss, and lip liner much more efficient and long-lasting.
  • Lip scrubbing or exfoliation makes your lips moister and holds its moisture longer; serving to avoid having cracked lips.
  • Plus if you’ll exfoliate your lips regularly, you don't need to worry about exposure cold and the wind, and having chapped lips after. Just apply a lip scrub and get a moisturized lip, that’s it!

Really Metallic
Aside from glittery and shiny lip gloss, and liners, we'll add more glitters for 2017 with metallic eye shadows. It seems like 2017 is all about glitters huh? Well, you bet!

Burgundy Shade Mascara

7 Simple Techniques to Rock Your Loved Lip Gloss

Here are seven techniques — while some you may know very well, and some you may not have considered before— to recreate that little tube of lip gloss you take around anywhere you go.

Wear it as is
Particularly when you are always on the go, lip gloss is an instant way to brighten your look—and contrary to lipstick, it’s simple to use even without a mirror. The shiny factor gives your lips a fuller look, and a hint of a more sheer color is entirely flattering and suitable for any season. For fool-proof usage without a mirror, just dab the lip gloss wand in the center of your bottom lip and next lightly press your lips together to spread the gloss.

Wear it with a lip liner
Join the lasting power of a lip liner with the sparkly factor of a lip gloss, and you will achieve a beautiful lip look that keeps the color all day, even if your lip gloss slowly hushes away. The liner also serves to prevent the lip gloss from gushing outside the boundaries of your lips. Begin on filling up your lips with your chosen lip liner. It can be bright or dark colored; just make certain that the colors of the lip liner and lip gloss balance each other considering that the result should be well blended. Then, sprinkle a light coating of powder over your lips to set the liner. Then, dab your gloss. Just dab and don’t smear the gloss, so you don’t erase the liner off.

Wear it with a lip stain
For the achieving, the same lasting power of a lip liner, but with a more sheer polish, use a lip stain over your lip gloss. Just be sure to provide the lip stain some time to dry and immerse into your lips before using the lip gloss, or you may mix it with the gloss and miss its lasting power.

Wear it with a white pencil
Use a white eyeliner pencil to fill in the center of your upper and lower lips—this sums dimension, which gives your lips bigger and fuller look. Then use your beloved pink lip liner and fill in both sides of your lips, mixing the sides of the white pencil with the pink liner. Lastly, use a layer of your preferred pink gloss atop. The lip gloss will soften the blend still further, and add an overall color, so it looks like your lips are highlighted and full in the middle.

Wear it with a lipstick
A light, glossy lip surely has its place, but we particularly love the look of a naked lipstick with a glossy lip gloss on top. The glow and shimmer of the lip gloss add some dimensions to the color, making it stand out from other parts of your face.

Wear it over your cheeks
Dewy skin is a trend, and a simple way to achieve the look is a dab of your favorite lip gloss over your cheekbones. Use a small amount and blend smoothly on your cheekbone using your finger.

Wear it over your eyeshadow
For a more exciting turn on the tip above, dab at a shiny gold or metallic eye shadow in the midst of your lower lip, and then use your lip gloss. The eye shadow will produce a glittery highlight, set by the all-over glow of the gloss.
