How to Take Proper Care of our Phones

As we all know, our mobile phones are an important means of staying in touch with others on a regular basis. With this, we can say that they are a reasonable investment of money. Thus, it makes so much sense financially and personally to take good care of our phones to make it last longer and function well. Here are some tips you could use for taking care of your mobile phone.

1. Getting the phone that fits you. It is highly recommended that one must research widely before deciding to purchase a new phone. It is vital that you choose which features on a cell phone you want to have. First, be sure you are happy with its brand, with its features, and with the quality of the design. This is important because if you purchase something you don't like, you could be "careless" only because you "care less."

2. Buy a case and screen protector. This prevents your phone from having knocks and scratches. It also helps maintain your phone's appearance for an extended period and protects your phone from internal damages should you knock or drop your phone by accident.

3. Keep and store your phone in a safe place when not in use. Somewhere that is out of the way can be a good place, where it cannot easily by knocked onto the floor or gets poured by any liquid. This could be a desk, bookshelf, drawer, or in a cabinet. It's also a great sense to have a spot where it always goes with a recharge so you can find it easily.

4. Refrain from keeping your phone stored in a closed container such as a purse, unless it is turned off. Charging them in a closed container is a potential fire hazard since Li-ion batteries (which are used in most phones) are giving off heat when charging and discharging. Use legitimate chargers. Cheaper ones lessen your phone's lifespan or may not be compatible with your brand.

5. Keep your phone dry. Don't use it outside when raining and avoid eating or drinking near your phone.

6. As studies show that your phone might be the dirtiest thing you could have, it is best to clean your phone regularly. A dry tissue paper or alcohol wipes may be good to clean the phone's exterior surfaces. Do not use water, wet wipes, or any cleaner that may add moisture to your phone.

7. Recharge your phone on a regular schedule. Battery usage and battery's life span would depend on how much time you spend in using your phone.

8. To protect your phone from theft, take your phone with you whenever possible and never let it leave your sight.

9. You could use theft shutdown software which you can activate to shut down your phone if it happened to be stolen.

By following these simple steps, keeping your phone for an extended period is made possible and easy. Above all, just always be responsible for handling not only your phone but all of your belongings.

The Menace of Technology

The scope of the population today having owned at least a cell phone has rapidly grown. With this, the people becoming addicted to their phones have also increased. When these gadgets were brought up to the world until it was easily sold over the Internet through online shops, its primary purpose was mere to make life as easy as it can be. Ironically, many of us today do not have a "life" just because they do not know when to turn their gadgets off.

To the most possibility, there is at least one person we know who cannot be detached to his or her cell phone. It could be someone who leaves his phone on in a place where it is prohibited in fear of missing a single call. Or someone who might be just holding his phone all - day long doing stuff instead of doing his job. Same goes with those who are uncomfortable if they forgot their phones at home and cannot focus on what they are doing until getting their phones back in their hands.

Disastrously, cell phone addiction may become the widespread and global issue as greater part of the children population are cell phone owners. On a study done in Japan, it has been realized that Japanese children didn't make friends with those who don't own cell phone. In some other studies done in different countries, statistics showed that three-quarters of Hungarian children owned cell phones. In Italy, one-quarter of the adolescents held multiple cell phones. In Great Britain, 36% of those who are in college admitted: "they cannot live without their phones" and surprisingly, 7% of them had lost a job or relationship because of their mobile use.

The question now goes as to whether cell phone addictions are no different than drug addiction as an actual addiction. Well, some things make them fall on the same ground. Cell phone addicts primarily use their phone to make them feel better. Over time, they seem to increase the time for using their phone because it gives them the same feeling as the first time they have used their phone. They also tend to develop a separation anxiety when their phones are not available. Various cases show some changes in the brain which call for another study about the brain of a cell phone addict.

So if you are worried about someone you know being a cell phone addict, you may have to look for the hints yourself. They are those who cannot stand without their phones for a length of time. They may also belong to those who are easily irritated when someone does not answer his calls or text messages quick enough. He does not turn his phone off, even when he is asked to and thinks of nothing but going home whenever the phone is left at home.

If this sounds like someone you know, now is the time to take action. If it is your children having a premium phone plan, maybe you can drop it to the basics with the limited access to the internet. They may not like it, but honestly, they'll soon be used to the adjustments over time.

Cell phones nowadays are vital in making life easy, but we should also remember the life that is existing and still waiting without them.

Here's Why You Should Put a Case on Your Phone

Some say that only stupid people don’t case their smartphones especially for those people who engage in excessive phone pinching or individuals who like death-defying and or extreme selfies.

Getting a case for your phone won't cost much rather than buying a new smartphone just because you scratched it and you did not put a case on it which is great. Putting a case on your phone just does sense right? Here are further reasons why you should put a case on your phone now!

It's too thin and too light

Smartphones nowadays are seriously thin and light that they’re not very enduring. Nothing like the indestructible old models, anyway. A phone case supplements much-needed additional bulk, so your smartphone doesn’t break or bend that easy.

You have no phone insurance

You've already spent so much on your phone alone and getting insurance is just an extra pain in the ass. Alternatively, why not take care of your belongings on your own. Why not make your case your phone insurance and spend one time and less.

Hate those scratches!

Smartphones aren’t super-fragile bits of glass—most of them are built out of tough-ish metal or synthetic, and the glass they use is exceptional like an ultra-tough Gorilla Glass. However, even if you don't drop your phone or step on it, it seemingly employs so much time inside your pocket or purse where it’s going to get scratched, except if you put a case on it.

Cases protect your phone

Cases aren’t excellent at guarding the biggest, most delicate part of your phone which is the screen. Though if you drop your cased phone, the screen would still is in trouble. But phone cases do preserve the rest of your phone, such as the delicate electronic inside. If you wish to protect the screen too then, you can have a screen protector for that which just cheap and affordable.

Cases for a better grip

The doubt with sleek, sexy and modern smartphones is that they are super slippery! A grippy and rubberized case could give a significant difference.

Cases can rock your style

There are millions of phone cases with designs nd styles that would perfectly fit your character and fashion out there. It does not only make your phone look gorgeous, cute, stylish or edgy, cases can also hide your biggest secret, and that is your old model phone. That makes a lot more sense, isn't it?

You take your phone literally everywhere

Even in the places where you probably shouldn’t just like the bathroom or doing extreme activities. Even if you are not clumsy, there are times that you just get out of your balance. So, might as well have a case on it.

Some cases are multifunctional

Some cases out today do more than just to protect your smartphone! There are lots of multifunctional cases too that act as battery packs, bottle openers, wallets, and much more.
