Three Easy Exercises for a Beach-Ready Tummy

Everyone is so excited for the summer, who's not? I'm sure most of you are already searching for the perfect bikini to hit the beach. Probably, you have been looking at the malls or online shops. I guess, most of you already found the perfect bikini, however, when you tried it on and looked in the mirror, your tummy does not flatter your bikini. Well, same problem here. A flat tummy is what we all have wanted when summer is almost coming, but somehow it's just so hard.

It takes time and hard work for sure. No one gets a flat tummy overnight, and we only have a couple of months to prepare. So, maybe if we start doing these three simple exercises right now, we could still make it on time! Who's game?

The Bicycle Crunch

How?

Lie down with your back pressed into the floor. Place your hands on the back of your head. Beginning with your legs flexed or bent at 45-degree angle, take your right knee towards the chest while straightening or leveling out your left leg. At the same time, twist or rotate your top half. Thus, your left elbow goes to your right knee and then shift to the other side. Perform this for one minute and repeat three times a day.

The Boat

How?

Sit on the floor and bent your knees and feet flat, then, tilt back, while extending your legs, making your body creates a right angle. Stretch and pull your abs into balance. Extend arms at the shoulder height past the knees. Hold it for five slow breaths and go back to your starting position. Repeat this five times a day.

The Plank

How?

Just lie face down then raise or lift yourself up onto your toes and your forearms, with elbows bent at 90 degrees. Holding your core muscles -— your bottom and stomach — tight and the legs straight, hold this for 10 seconds. Repeat this exercise three times a day, continuously building up to 40 seconds each.

These exercises sound very easy, right? It must be easy to do. But persistence is the key. Most of us are guilty of starting something and gradually losing the interest and the persistence. So, if we feel like we don't want to do it anymore, let's just think about our bikini, the beach, and Instagram!
