Beauty with Conscience: Be Organically Beautiful!

Organic alternatives to cleaning supplies, beauty secrets, and food are already in high supply in the market. Upon discovering the beauty of organic ingredients, it is not a surprise that organic beauty products are also on an increase today. If you haven’t been in the world of organic products yet, check these top benefits of organic products and learn about how much you need them.

Organic Products Are More Earth-Friendly
Traditionally made beauty products include ingredients that can have a negative effect in the environment, starting from the very beginning, as the ingredients are being harvested. They are harvested with pesticides and dangerous chemicals that can cause damage to the soil. Natural products are a way of promoting the creation of cleaner and safer products. These are from chemical-free farms, produced while creating a healthier planet.

Organic Products Are Far Better for Your Skin
Little to no government regulations on beauty products are becoming a huge problem in the industry. While the Food and Drug Administration is in charge of checking about what goes on in these modern products but doesn’t pay much attention to it, it is actually as bad as these beauty products. This implies that companies can include any ingredient, not caring if it’s good for your skin or not. This could include harmful chemicals, irritants, and other unnecessary fillers. Organic beauty products take away all your worries about these harmful chemicals. All ingredients are natural and nutritional.

Organic Products Are Healthier to Your Overall Being
Always remember, your skin is an organ; the largest one actually. It is the surface that first catches all that you had to go through every day: the cuts and scratches, dust and dirt, and the harmful chemicals. By using organic and natural products, know those good things are going on your skin. Erase those chemicals that you haven’t heard of and are too hard to pronounce, be happy and contented with these organic ingredients.

5 Ways to Protect Your Skin

No one ever wants to have a bad skin, do you? Having a healthy and flawless skin comes down to good habits. As gentle as a child being taken care of, our skins should always have our attention and care. Here are five ways on how to protect your skin as it protects your body.

1. Limit Sun Exposure

This is the first and most common tip that we could hear from anyone and anywhere, and there is a good reason. The sun releases ultraviolet rays which causes skin cancer, wrinkles, freckles, age spots, discoloration and benign growths if we let ourselves expose under the sun for a long period of time. We can also use products with UV protection to help our skin.

2. Stay Hydrated

According to a dermatologist with a private practice in California drinking enough water is vital for your general health. It is recommended to start and end your day with a cup of drink to hydrate your body. It can be green tea, caffeine, or antioxidants. A skin that is properly hydrated is less likely to develop a chapped, scaly and flaky skin.

3. Come Down With Health Precautions

Viral infections can cause cold sore affecting the lips while bacteria contributes to acne and other skin problems. With that, one must know that it is not good to share personal items such as lip balms. Avoid having your face in contact with objects that have been used by others such as a telephone receiver. And of course, don't pick cysts or splinters. A doctor can do it better than you.

4. Use Amiable Skin Care Products

As we know, it is important to wash our face regularly to remove unwanted oils, dirt, and dead skin, but scrubbing is a different story. Some would over - scrub leading to a chapped skin. With this, we should avoid abrasive exfoliation products. Moreover, in washing your face use a warm water and a mild cleanser. Massage your face in circular motion and rinse thoroughly. Never rub your face with a cloth when drying. Instead, you can pat to dry and apply moisturizer then.

5. Know Your Skin

Always pay attention to your skin, observing and monitoring for any unusual spot. If you happen to notice any problem with your skin, it is recommended to get medical attention to avoid putting your skin at risk.

BB Cream and its Benefits

In our journey to gain flawless-looking skin, we have been running through different department stores and drugstores. Now, time-strapped and reluctant to work with fussy brushes and or sponges, we are tapping into the advanced skincare: Blemish Balm or BB Cream.

Applied using your fingertips, this lightweight BB is very easy to use and are providing traditional foundations a better competition. BB cream works to hydrate and to reduce the occurrence of blemishes and discoloration for an extra even skin complexion. But BB creams also carry a potent cocktail of helpful ingredients that includes an anti-aging serum; a wide spectrum of sunscreen; a color evener for redness, blemishes, and dark spots; an antioxidant; an anti-inflammatory; and a makeup primer. BB cream promises to do the job of primer, moisturizer, serum, and a foundation all at once — quite a great work for a little package.

The original BB cream was created in the 1960s by the German dermatologist named Dr. Christine Schrammek to better preserve patients’ skin after surgery. It worked well, and with unexpected side benefits: skin lightening and brightening. These effects took on in the ’80s in Korea, and news reached to Japan, China, and all of the Southeast Asia. Most of the people from Asia have darker skin tone, so blemish balms were formulated to help lighten the age spots, blemishes, and acne scars—actually treating the skin while giving a full coverage.

What are the benefits of using BB creams?
Many BB creams promise sufficient sun protection, with broad-spectrum of SPF 30 or even higher that the American Academy of Dermatology's reference for daily use. What is more, BB creams usually comprise zinc oxide or the titanium oxide which are physical sunblock that has built-in water-resistant characteristics.

When it's about the skin treatment, you can find BB creams that include:

  • Anti-aging ingredients, including antioxidants and peptides such as the essential vitamins A, E, and C
  • Moisturizing substances like glycerin and hyaluronic acid.
  • Elements such as arbutin and licorice that help even skin tone
  • Light-reflecting mica to provide skin with a luminous finish
  • Silicone-based elements, such as dimethicone, that support in smoothing the skin, serving much like a foundation base does.
